Deer Associates Program
The Deer Associates Program has shifted its focus to making sure private landowners, wildlife managers, agencies, biologists, commercial hunting operations, and deer enthusiasts receive the latest findings from deer-related research being conducted at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute.
During August 2008, the Deer Associates Program launched its first Deer Associates eNews. This eNews provides the latest information on deer research findings written by deer experts from the Institute and other collaborating entities. Additionally, the Deer Associates Program hosts an annual Deer Associates Meeting to provide an opportunity for deer enthusiasts to come together to discuss the latest research findings. Look for information on our next Deer Associates Meeting in your eNews.

The Deer Associates Meeting was held on March 6, 2009 at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas. Approximately 70 people attended the meeting to hear presentations from deer researchers and managers. Download available presentations from the meeting. [click here]
