Bristleleaf Dogweed


(Thymophylla tenuiloba)

Bristleleaf Dogweed is a low-growing forb which tends to branch at the nodes.  Bristleleaf Dogweed is found frequent on sandy loam and caliche soils throughout the Rio Grande Plains and the Coastal Prairies.  The leaves provide good browse for white-tailed deer.
