Guajillo
(Acacia berlandieri)
Guajillo is a common drought tolerant component of the South Texas brushlands, and is found in a variety of habitats and soil types, most frequently in shallow sandy, gravelly or limestone caliche hills or ridges along the Rio Grande Plains, Trans-Pecos, and southern Edwards Plateau. Guajillo is browsed mainly by white-tailed deer and cattle.
