Christopher C. Kleberg, 52, is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager at Bank of America Private Bank in San Antonio, Texas. Supported by the firm’s global resources, he coordinates a team of specialists in serving high-net-worth business owners, physicians, generations of families with inherited wealth and family offices. Chris’ primary focus is recreational ranch and farm and ranch lending, investment management and estate planning. Mr. Kleberg is a Registered Investment Adviser, having successfully completed FINRA’s Series 7 and 66 exams. Before joining the Bank of America Private Bank, Mr. Kleberg began his career at King Ranch, Inc. in Kingsville, Texas and ultimately served as the Director of Ranching Operations in Brazil, prior to the sale of the assets. Upon completion of his Masters at Southern Methodist University, he joined Ernst & Young as a Real Estate Consultant. Having spent ten years in the real estate industry in various capacities with Private Equity and Real Estate Investment Trust companies he transitioned to banking in 2011 when he joined Capital Bank in El Paso, Texas. At Capital Bank Mr. Kleberg served in various capacities and moved to San Antonio in 2015 to become the Market President. Mr. Kleberg is a member of the King Ranch Inc. Board of Directors. Active in civic organizations, Mr. Kleberg serves as a Trustee for the Caesar Kleberg Foundation, and member of the Advisory Board for the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University Kingsville. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Order of the Alamo and San Antonio Country Club. Mr. Kleberg graduated from Washington College with a B.A. in History and from Southern Methodist University with an M.B.A. He resides in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and three sons.
