Joe (He/Him) is from Saint Louis, Missouri and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri in 2016. Since then he has been practicing as a small animal emergency veterinarian in Minnesota. During his time there he could not help but feel like his life was destined for something with a greater impact outside the confines of the hospital walls. Through several conversations and networking Joe was connected with the great folks at CKWRI. His interests center around the One Health Initiative and he intends to foster that through his work on the East West Yana Project. Joe is incredibly excited to be working under the guidance of Dr. Michael Cherry and hopes to draw upon Cherry’s endless knowledge within his field.
