Tony is a native of South Texas, growing up on the family farm and ranch in Riviera. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station and studied Animal Science then came back to Texas A&I University to study Range and Wildlife Management. After retiring from the retail industry and moving back to the Kingsville area, he came to work for CKWRI in summer of 2022. He is responsible for handling project-related Institute purchases, processing purchase orders and invoices, interpreting state and federal guidelines and University procedures, and coordinating with vendors and the University community for accurate and timely payment of invoices. Tony loves to hunt, fish and cook and most weekends you can find him outside around his BBQ pit experimenting with new recipes. Tony has three children and three grandchildren.
