Raziel is a South Texas botanist and his interests include phytosociology, systematics, and ethonobotany. He received his Master of Science (MS) in biology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he compared remnant old growth thornforest plant communities. After earning a MS, he continued biological fieldwork and began propagating native plants with habitat restoration in mind. He has proudly joined the CKWRI team, where his research is in thornforest restoration.
