Miranda is from Covington, Georgia. She received her bachelors in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences at the University of Georgia in May 2021. In June 2024, Miranda received her masters in Range and Wildlife Management at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Her masters work focused on the reproductive ecology of white-tailed deer in semi-arid environments. Currently, Miranda is pursuing a PhD in Wildlife Science at TAMUK. She is based at the CKWRI-North office in Lubbock, Texas. Her research focuses on large mammal community dynamics and competition between native and non-native ungulates in the Texas Hill Country.
