Meghan was raised in San Antonio, Texas where an equestrian background sparked an interest in plant cultivation. Meghan received her B.S in Horticulture from Texas A&M University, College Station, with an emphasis in nursery and greenhouse production and management in 2016. In 2023 she completed her M.S at Tarleton State University in Agriculture and Natural Resources working with Dr. James Muir researching the ornamental performance of native grasses under municipal water restrictions.
Meghan’s work experiences include native landscaping, public gardens, nursery and greenhouse plant production, and pollinator habitat restoration with the Dallas Parks System. Meghan has been an educator for Texas Discovery Gardens, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, and Tarleton State University. She is a member and leader with the Texas Master Naturalists and Native Plant Society of Texas. Her interests include plant ecology, community dynamics, and habitat restoration.
